Series Classes

Our series classes are for those who are interested in pursuing a deeper
understanding of the culinary world. All classes are hands on and vary in length and
are taught in our San Marcos location. We invite you to join us on a life long adventure
that is the world of food!
Class size is limited and pre-registration is required.

Cooking 101 - (10 Sessions)
Classes have begun with 4 classes per month - enroll in all 10 and receive the entire course for $450.00 or enroll in each class individually.
Individual classes are listed on the
Culinary Basics page and have the
tag (Cooking 101) for reference.




10 week
Course

Explore the magic of cooking in this hands on class where you will learn the fundamentals to
cooking well. Learn what equipment you need, how to stock your pantry, all about herbs and spices,
cooking oils, all about foods, what the different cooking techniques are and when to use them.  Bring
a chef’s knife, apron, cutting board and containers to transport your creations home.


Healthy Baby - Home Made Food
Classes have begun, please check the Culinary Basics page for dates and times.

Beginners - 4 to 6 months
Explorers - 6 to 9 months
Independent Babes - 9-12 months
Let's Get Moving! - 12-24 months
Shake it Up Baby - 2-3 years

You want your baby to have all the advantages you can offer. So, why not start with the best food
available to you and your child. Learn how to make baby food from scratch using fresh wholesome
ingredients that are seasonally available and packed full of nutrition. Before you reach for another
store bought baby food product filled with preservatives think twice, there is an alternative! Bring an
apron, closed toe shoes, chef's knife, cutting board, and containers to take your creations home.      



The Romeo's - Retired Old Men Eating Out ! (Monthly)
Classes have begun and will repeat monthly on different dates and times. Classes are listed on the Culinary Basics page.

Join your friends or make new ones in a fun filled atmosphere of communal dining.
The menu is never the same and everyone participates in creating the meal from
appetizer to dessert! Bring an apron, chef’s knife and containers to carry leftovers!


The Women's Room  (Monthly)

The power of a woman's experience has no bounds. Join us as we come together to share our
wisdom, experiences, joys and sorrows while cooking our way through surprise ingredients. Like
life, we'll deal with what we've got and turn it into something magical and magnificent. If you're
looking for good conversation, laughter and companionship without the need to "pretend" this is the
place for you. Bring an apron, closed toe shoes, chef's knife, cutting board, and containers to take
your creations home.      

Around the World in 6 weeks (6 sessions)
Classes begin March 10th with 3 classes per month - enroll in all 6 and receive the entire course for $300.00 or enroll in each class individually.

6 Week Course


Join us as we explore the nuances of cultural cooking. Learn how to make wonderful dishes
representing Greece, Spain, Italy, China, Thailand and India. Explore the flavors of each country as
you cook your way around the world. Each class is focused upon one culture with each week an
adventure in the making. Passports are not required, just a hearty appetite and a love of adventure.
Bring to class an apron, chef’s knife, cutting board and containers so you can take your creations
home.


The Dinner Club  (4 sessions)
Classes have begun and are listed under Culinary Basics.

Cooking from the Heart  (4 sessions)

Really good cooks don’t follow recipes, they follow their heart. A pinch of this, a dash of that leads to the most splendid alchemy. Join us as we explore the art of cooking from the heart where you will
learn to depend on your five senses to create the most amazing dishes ever! Bring a chef’s knife,
apron, cutting board and containers to transport your creations home.
 


The Art of Cuban Cooking - The Series  (7 sessions)

Join us as we explore the tantalizing foods of Cuba, Miami style. Find out what makes this cuisine impossible to forget and leaves you wanting more. Learn the secrets of the Cuban kitchen in both a
demonstration and hands on atmosphere. Each class focuses on one component of Cuban
cooking, so we do suggest you take them all!  A love of garlic is required and aprons are a good
idea! We’re having a party, Cuban style and you’re invited!



Mediterranean Cuisine  (3 sessions)

The Novice Cook                  (2 sessions)

Are you terrified at the prospect of having all your relatives and friends over for
dinner?  Does the thought of preparing any meal leave you weak in
the knees? Well, fear no more! In this, hands on 2 part series, you will learn how to
plan, shop and create a memorable feast.  From appetizer to dessert, you’ll
wow your guests as each course is served. And best of all, you’ll get to enjoy all the
festivities stress free!
